Updating your insurance, and also getting temporary insurance is something to consider when you are moving.
- Moving insurance, especially during a PPM, may be considered to protect your items while they are in transit. If the military is conducting your moves, you already have coverage.
- Remember to update your vehicle insurance after you move.
- If you own a home, and you are moving out, ensure you update the insurance company. You will need to notify your insurance company if your home is vacant, and also update your policy for having the home rented out.
