What is TLE/TLA?
Temporary Lodging Expense (TLE) and Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA) are two benefits available before you move into your new home.
The amount you are reimbursed is the lesser of:
- Authorized amount
- Lodging receipt
- No lodging receipt = No reimbursement for lodging.
- Staying with a friend = No reimbursement for lodging.
- Staying in your car to save money = No reimbursement for lodging.
